On September 17, 2025, SETA’s Sacramento Works hosted the Fall Expo: Fall into Your Career – A Harvest of Opportunities, bringing together 50 employers and nearly 400 job seekers for a day of meaningful connections.
The event drew strong participation from a wide range of industry partners. Well-known organizations including UC Davis, Franchise Tax Board, BMO Bank, SacRT, Sacramento County, Sierra Pacific Industries, and CalFire joined dozens of other employers eager to meet local talent. Throughout the day, employers reported steady traffic at their tables and engaged in conversations that went beyond resumes—discussing skills, career pathways, and opportunities for advancement.
Employer feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many collected resumes for follow-up interviews, and several reported they were already scheduling next steps. Notably, Nidec Elevator shared that they plan to interview three job seekers in the coming week and will be following up with SETA about the results.
