21 Day Backdating Look-down and 30 Day System Closure

The 21 day lock-down (back-date) restriction has gone into effect. Staff will not be able to back-date a customer’s SacWorks Application, Participation, and/or Activity more than 21 days from present. The 21 day lock-down (back-date) restriction is only applicable to the initial creation of the Application, Participation, and/or Activity. Projected End Dates and Activity Completion/Closure Dates are not subject to the back-date restriction.

In addition, Activities will now System Close 30 days after the Projected End Date of the Activity.

These changes are critical to having SacWorks mirror CalJOBS and reduce inconsistencies between the customer records in the two systems.

If staff have a customer whose App or Activity needs to be backdated between 21 and 30 days of present, they should contact SacWorksSupport for immediate assistance. Any dates that exceed 30 days (but are within the last 60 days) can be submitted as a data change request. Data change requests must be submitted by a Site Supervisor/Program Officer to SacWorksSupport.

The state will make few, if any, exceptions for Applications or Activities that did not upload to CalJOBS with dates that are older than 60 days.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact SacWorksSupport.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work through these system changes.
