Disability Program Navigator

Services & Supports for…

  • Job Seekers with Disabilities
  • Employers
  • Community Organizations

While many persons with a disabilities would like to work and become self-sufficient, the anxiety and confusion about how making money will impact their financial and medical benefits often discourages them from pursuing their goals. Many also have concerns about how to approach an employer, when to disclose their disability, and about accessibility, accommodations, and transportation issues.

The Disability Program Navigator (DPN) and Ticket to Work programs were created to help the customer with a disability who wants to work, navigate through the complexities of government rules and regulations, overcome barriers, and create strategies for successfully gaining and retaining employment through the Sacramento Works One Stop Career Center system.
